Our Story
Nyilas Cleaning Services was founded in 1975 by Bill & Joyce Nyilas in Springfield, Illinois, at our current location. After 30 years of serving the community, Bill & Joyce retired, and Darrell Tureskis — who had worked alongside them learning their tips and tricks — became the business's second, and current, owner.
Since taking over Nyilas Cleaning, Darrell has expanded the business's commercial contracts and offerings, including adding tile and grout work. A born-and-raised Springfieldian and proud graduate of Griffin's Class of 1981, Darrell is the recipient of various local and state accolades, a Springfield Hall of Fame inductee, and a record-setting Salvation Army bell ringer.
"We are proud to celebrate over 50 years of dedicated service to our valued clients. Thank you for being a part of our journey!"
